When it comes to photography, you can look for the cheapest rate, personalized service, and the best final products. Unfortunately, you can't get all three. You will have to select two of the three. A good photographer with great service is not going to be cheap. And a good photographer with cheap prices will rarely offer personal service. At Kevin LaMonte Photography, I pride myself by offering great service and great photography for my clients.
I don't apologize for charging more than most because I know that you'll remember poor quality photography and bad service long after forgetting the low prices that were paid for them. Our ideal client sees our service and products as an investment in their memories and gladly pay us to preserve their memories in a personalized way. Remember this: If that cheap photographer fails to capture your once in a lifetime moments, was that low price really worth it? If your answer is no, you should call me. I'll be happy to provide you with personalized service and the best final products.

How do I book photography services?
It starts with a simple request. Click button below and let me know what you are looking for. Once I get your request and some basic information, I'll give you a call to schedule a meeting or to refer you to someone if I can't help you.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Carrollton, TX (20 miles north of Dallas, TX). I shoot all over the DFW Metroplex and I will travel when a client requests my services more than 20 miles outside of Carrollton.
Where do we take pictures? Do you have a studio?
I do not use a studio. All portrait sessions are typically done on-location. I have a number of ideal locations for photo sessions. If you have an indoor location that you would like to use for your session, let's discuss it.
COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: DUE TO THE 2020-22 PANDEMIC, WE ARE CONDUCTING LIMITED INDOOR SESSIONS AND THE PHOTOGRAPHER ADHERES TO ALL COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS INCLUDING MASKS, HAND SANITIZER, AND LIMITED PHYSICAL CONTACT.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive a link to an online gallery link with all your proofs within 5-7 business days of your session (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your session). Depending on my workload, editing could take 7-10 business days after which you can download all the photos from the gallery. If you have product (gift prints, wall art, canvas portraits, portrait albums, etc), many of those products take between 5-14 business days for pickup.
How many pictures will we receive?
Depends on the type of session. Most portrait sessions have about 35-40 proofs to select from (sometimes there may be more). Special events are typically 40-50 per hour. I always choose quality rather than quantity and I focus on selecting the best and most significant photos captured during your session.
How Do I Pay For your service or products
Kevin LaMonte Photography accepts a nominal deposit to hold your requested session day & time. When ordering product (gift prints, wall art, canvas, portrait albums, etc), a 50% deposit is required. The balance is due upon pick up or delivery. We accept credit & debit cards via PayPal, Zelle, and CashApp. We also accept cash.
We only accept checks from established businesses and organizations.
Personal checks are not accepted.
Finally, we offer 6-months no-interest payment plans via Paypal Credit.
Can you photoshop our pictures?
The short answer is yes. I offer to retouch images using Adobe Photoshop as part of my normal process. However, when I start getting requests that go beyond minor fixes, we have a discussion about necessity and cost for services.
Photoshop is an advanced skill - one which most photographers don't really know. I am an advanced Adobe Photoshop professional and require payment for any advanced services.
